Dr. Nelson was born and raised in Michigan and moved to Washington State in October of 2022. He earned his bachelor's degree in biology from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, MI and graduated from Arizona College of Optometry at Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ.
While in Optometry school he became a member of the Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanities (VOSH) and served the people of Meoqui, Chihuahua in Mexico.
Dr. Nelson has worked in many fields of optometry, including; primary care, contact lens, ocular disease, among others.
In his spare time he likes golfing and hiking. He is a sports fan and loves watching all professional and collegiate sports, especially golf and football. When Dr. Nelson isn't golfing or watching sports; he enjoys spending time gardening and tending to his chickens on his seven acres with his fiancé and three dogs."
